Haunt's Description/Storyline: |
Constructed amidst war mired in tragedy, this real 200 year old mansion is haunted to this day. The mansion that you will enter is almost 200 years old. Construction began in 1812, the same year that the British burned down the White House. The mansion was not completed that year, because the workers had to flee in order to escape the oncoming British. Throughout it's dreadful history, many have visited the mansion, and those less fortunate, have never left. The original owner of the mansion was Dr. Grey. During the war of 1812 there were battles fought in this area. Dr. Grey helped care for many dying and wounded soldiers, which explains why there have been so many ghost sightings in and around the mansion. |
